In the framework of International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2011 was made the official meeting of the Union of Aviation Industrialists (SAP) of the Russian Federation, represented by Executive Director Evgeny Gorbunov, and the Cluster of Serbian Aeronautical Industry (UVIS), headed by the General Manager Velibor Vukasinovic.

The meeting was attended by Aleksey Antonenkov, Project Manager, Evgenia Soboleva, manager of the Union, and Dejan Milinkovic, manager of UVIS.

During the meeting, the most important questions of potential cooperation between two organizations were opened, with special emphasis on forms of cooperation of small and medium enterprises of Russia and Serbia, involved in the Union (SAP) and the Cluster (UVIS), and in the field of air traffic safety and harmonization of standards in civil aviation.

In the forthcoming period, the boards of two associations are about to verify the proposal of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Union of Aviation Industrialists and the Cluster of Serbian Aeronautical Industry.
